No accounts

There is no sign-up, no login, and no password to store. We don’t ask for an email address to use the service.

What our server sees

When you call an endpoint, our server receives the normal parts of an HTTP request: method, path, headers, query string, and body. The echo endpoints simply send that information back to you so you can inspect it.

Rate limiting

To keep the service responsive we keep a temporary per-IP counter of recent requests. It expires automatically.

Cookies

SampleAPI does not set any cookies of its own.

Third parties

We don’t sell or share data with third parties, and we don’t embed third-party tracking scripts.

Children

SampleAPI is aimed at developers. It is not directed at children and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this page changes meaningfully, the date below will be updated. Continued use of the service means you accept the current version.
